Winter Relief with Pure Essential Oils
Winter is a time when our body’s natural defences weaken, making us more susceptible to coughs, colds and flu. Aromatherapy is a natural and gentle way to protect our body during this time by easing the symptoms associated with the winter chill.
Sore Throat Season:
At the first sign of sore throat, Massage Lavender and Australian Sandalwood into throat area and behind the ears.
Strengthen Immune System:
Massage Cedarwood, Eucalyptus and Lemon on the chest and back before bed each night to protect your family and help relieve the symptoms of colds and flu.
Chilblains:
Massage German Chamomile, Rosemary and Lavender to increase circulation to hands and feet.
Keep Baby’s Bedroom Germ-Free
Vaporise 1 drop of In Essence Breathe well away from the cot (for 1 hour only) before bed.
Children’s Cold & Flu Blend:
Vaporise or Massage 3 drops of Breathe at night before bed.
Hibernate At Home:
Vaporise Frankincense, Marjoram and Orange to bring warmth and tranquillity into the heart and home for all the family.
Uplift Spirit:
Vaporise Orange, Lime and Ylang Ylang when feeling down and nocturnal.
Care For Cold Feet:
Cold weather means cold hands and feet, aching joints and poor circulation. Revitalise the body with a warming massage to improve circulation and warm the feet. Combine Lemongrass, Eucalyptus and Rosemary in a warm Jojoba oil base.
Tip: Wear warm woollen socks to bed for added penetration.
Winter Body Rub Blend:
Cooler temperatures and heavier winter food slow our digestion and metabolism. A daily body rub before getting dressed will warm the circulation, energise the body and help promote a healthy digestion.
Combine Peppermint, Juniper and Roman Chamomile in a warm Jojoba oil base.
Skin Repair:
Compress Harmony for mature, dehydrated skin. Compress German Chamomile, Australian Sandalwood and Lavender for dry, mature skin. Compress Grapefruit, Geranium and Lavender for acne-prone skin.
